Knowing about Jesus and truly knowing Him are two different things. CAIN’s “Do You Know Jesus?”, from the album Paradise, brings attention to the personal side of Christian faith, inviting listeners to consider their own relationship with Christ. The title presents a simple but meaningful question that goes beyond religious knowledge or familiarity with the Bible.
At its heart, the song points toward the importance of knowing Jesus personally and recognising who He is in one’s life. For Christians, faith is not simply about attending church or knowing religious teachings; it is also about trusting Christ, embracing His love, and allowing His teachings to shape everyday living. The song’s message can also serve as an invitation to those still exploring Christianity to consider the person at the centre of the faith.
Through their contemporary Christian style and faith-focused songwriting, CAIN brings attention to a question that remains central to the Christian journey: is Jesus someone you have merely heard about, or someone you personally know?
