Nollywood actress and evangelist Tonto Dikeh has unveiled a new Christian ministry, the New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT), describing it as an interdenominational altar created for believers seeking prayer, revival, spiritual growth and transformation.
Dikeh announced the new ministry on Sunday, August 9, 2026, through her social media page. According to her announcement, NWPT is an “interdenominational altar, spiritual home, and global movement of consecrated believers” called to experience what she describes as the raw power, purity and presence of God.
Why Tonto Dikeh established the ministry
The ministry is centred on prayer, revival, apostolic training, spiritual gifts, soul winning and deliverance. Its stated vision is to see a global awakening of consecrated believers who will live in God’s presence and contribute to spiritual transformation in their communities and nations.
NWPT draws its name and biblical foundation from Mark 2:22, which uses the picture of new wine being placed in new wineskins. Dikeh’s announcement connects the passage with the ministry’s emphasis on spiritual renewal, consecration and a deeper pursuit of God.
“This is not a church”
One notable part of Dikeh’s announcement is her clarification that the New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle is not intended to operate as a conventional church or denomination.
The ministry describes itself as an intense gathering of believers who are committed to God’s purposes and desire to pursue prayer, revival and spiritual transformation across denominational boundaries.
NWPT has also identified four core values under the acronym FIRE: Flame of Intercession; Intimacy and Consecration; Revival and Soul Winning; and Empowerment through Deliverance and Healing.
Weekly fellowship in Abuja
The New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle is based in Abuja and is scheduled to hold its weekly fellowship every Friday at 6:00 p.m. Reports identify Jabi as the location of the fellowship.

The launch represents another significant development in Dikeh’s increasingly public Christian journey. In recent months, the actress has spoken more openly about her faith and has become involved in prayer, evangelism and other Christian activities. She also publicly shared a testimony in December 2025 about her personal transformation and deliverance from struggles she said had affected her life.
With the establishment of NWPT, Dikeh is now building a platform around the spiritual calling she has increasingly spoken about publicly. The ministry’s interdenominational approach means its stated focus extends beyond a single church denomination, bringing together believers who share its emphasis on prayer, revival, consecration and spiritual transformation.
