Toluwanisings’ “IBA” is a Yoruba gospel song centered on giving God the honour and reverence He deserves. The title reflects the Yoruba expression of respect and homage, making it a fitting theme for a song of praise. Released on September 4, 2026, through Toluwanisings Music Ministry, the song forms part of the late gospel minister’s musical catalogue, which reflects his commitment to sharing the Christian faith through music.
Praise and reverence are important parts of Yoruba Christian worship, where expressing honour to God can involve heartfelt singing, joyful praise, and acknowledging His greatness. “IBA” connects with this tradition by drawing attention to the importance of giving God His rightful place in worship. For listeners who enjoy Nigerian gospel music with a Yoruba cultural influence, the song offers an opportunity to reflect on honouring God beyond words and expressing genuine devotion through praise. It also remains part of Toluwanisings’ musical legacy, preserving his contribution to gospel music and his ministry through song.
