“Agya’s Prayer” opens The Promise, the 2026 album by Ghanaian gospel collective Team Eternity Ghana. The track introduces the project through a prayerful expression of faith, setting the tone for an album built around hope, restoration, God’s presence and His faithfulness. The title, which means “Father’s Prayer,” points listeners toward a personal and spiritual moment of seeking God.
Coming at the beginning of a project centred on the assurance of God’s promises, “Agya’s Prayer” feels naturally suited to reflection and worship. Its place as the opening track gives it added significance, inviting listeners into the wider themes explored throughout The Promise. Rather than presenting faith only as celebration, the song creates room for prayer and dependence on God. For listeners going through seasons of waiting, uncertainty or seeking direction, “Agya’s Prayer” offers a fitting entry point into Team Eternity Ghana’s latest gospel project.
