Sola Agunbiade, a teacher, pastor and singer with a passion for inspirational and philosophical music, presents Irin Ajo Emi (Spiritual Journey), a four-track gospel EP shaped by revelation, worship, the holiness of God and spiritual warfare. His desire to create soul-searching music for the gospel of Christ comes through in a project that approaches different aspects of the Christian faith with biblical imagery and devotional expression.
The EP opens with Halleluyah Ohun Ipe, drawing from Revelation 4:1–3 to portray an invitation into the heavenly realm and a search for revelational insight for navigating life and pursuing a meaningful spiritual journey. Psalm 24 follows with a melodic rendition of the familiar biblical psalm, while Mimo O Mimo turns attention to the majesty and holiness of God, reverencing Him through His names. The closing song, Emi Mimo Polongo, takes a spiritual-warfare direction, drawing from biblical characters and imagery to present God as a man of war and calling on the Holy Spirit to bring judgment against unrepentant enemies.
Together, the four songs reflect the perspective of an artist whose music is intended to make listeners think, worship and examine their walk with God. Irin Ajo Emi is available for listeners looking for gospel music rooted in Scripture, spiritual reflection and a deeper pursuit of God.
