Pastor Ezekiel Dachomo has called for the arrest and investigation of Senator Shehu Buba, a candidate in the 2027 Bauchi State governorship race, following allegations linking the politician to arms smuggling.
The allegation attracted attention online after posts associated with Dachomo circulated claims concerning a video allegedly recorded at the compound of Shehu Buba. Dachomo has called for the matter to be investigated and for the appropriate authorities to take action if evidence of criminal activity is established.

Allegation Has Not Been Independently Established
At the time of publication, however, the arms-smuggling allegation has not been independently established. There is also no verified evidence presented in the available material showing that Shehu Buba personally engaged in arms smuggling.
That distinction is important, particularly because the allegation concerns a public figure and involves a serious criminal offence. An accusation, social-media claim, or video said to have been recorded at someone’s property does not, by itself, establish criminal responsibility.
Call for Proper Investigation
Dachomo’s position is that the allegations should be subjected to proper investigation. If credible evidence is presented, relevant law-enforcement agencies would be responsible for determining whether an offence occurred, identifying those responsible, and taking any further action required by law.
For now, the claims surrounding Shehu Buba remain allegations rather than established facts. Any further development from the politician, security agencies, or other credible sources would provide important context as the matter unfolds.
