In a surprising twist, Olabisi Anuoluwapo Esther, also known as Labisi from The Akinpelu Sisters, won the 2023 Gospel Groove Talent Quest, Season One. This competition was hosted by Eezee Conceptz Global.
The Akinpelu Sisters are a group of four siblings known for their Christian music, especially their hit song “Loruko Jesu,” released in 2022.
The 2023 Gospel Groove Talent Quest was a unique event, and Labisi made history as the first winner. Among the final four talented female contestants – Labisi, Ibukun Adelagan, Asaph Idonuagbe, and Love Abolade – Labisi emerged as the champion.
