Northern based contemporary musician GenEx Shalele start the year with a brand new melody, which he titled Dan Kauye.
Dan Kauye is an Hausa phrase which means A village person. This sound talks about taking of marijuana and the likes, minister GenEx Shalele is of the opinion that, if smoking and drinking hard drugs is civilization, then he will rather be an uncivilized person or die as a village man.
GenEx Shalele further explained the effects of engaging in all these kinds of bad habits and encouraged that this is not good and God does not like it as well. “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” – Matthew 16:26
