There is a special kind of peace that comes from knowing God is watching over you, even in the middle of uncertainty. That assurance is at the centre of “Covered (Psalm 91)” by Action Worship, a worship song inspired by the promises of Psalm 91. Its message focuses on God’s protection, faithfulness, and His presence as a refuge for those who put their trust in Him.
Drawing from the biblical passage, the global song reminds believers that they do not have to live in fear of danger or difficult circumstances. God’s promises offer comfort and encouragement, especially during seasons when life feels uncertain. It encourages listeners to hold on to their faith and find confidence in the One who remains their shelter and protector.
I will dwell in the shelter
Of the Most High
I will rest in the arms
Of a King
I won’t fear the darkness
Of the nightfall
I will stand in the shadow
I will dwell in the shelter
Of the Most High
I will rest in the arms
Of a King
I won’t fear the darkness
Of the nightfall
I will stand in the shadow
Of Your wings
You send Your angels concerning me
So mighty, so holy, yet close to me
What a God
Oh, how You care for me
When I call You promise
You will answer
You are faithful to deliver
And to save
You’re the God who chooses
To protect me
I can trust in the power
Of Your name
You send Your angels concerning me
So mighty, so holy, yet close to me
What a God
Oh, how You care for me
You send Your angels concerning me
So mighty, so holy, yet close to me
What a God
Oh, how You care for me
All else may fall around me
Your angels uphold me
I’m covered by the Almighty
No evil can come near me
I stand in victory
In the presence of my King
All else may fall around me
Your angels uphold me
I’m covered by the Almighty
No evil can come near me
I stand in victory
In the presence of my King
You send Your angels concerning me
So mighty, so holy, yet close to me
What a God
Oh, how You care for me
You send Your angels concerning me
So mighty, so holy, yet close to me
What a God
Oh, how You care for me
You send Your angels concerning me
So mighty, so holy, yet close to me
What a God
Oh, how You care for me
