The greatness of God and the honour due to Him are central to “Glory of Your Name,” a worship song by Abundant Worship from the live album Holy Place. The song focuses on the glory of God’s name, drawing attention to His majesty and the reverence He deserves from those who worship Him.
For believers, glorifying God’s name is more than singing praises; it is also an expression of acknowledging who He is and giving Him the honour above all else. This theme makes the song meaningful for personal devotion and corporate worship, encouraging listeners to turn their attention away from themselves and focus on God. “Glory of Your Name” fits within the album’s broader emphasis on worship and seeking God’s presence, offering a reminder to approach Him with gratitude, humility, and sincere praise.
