Nigerian christian music sensation Abiola Radiance dishes out a brand new melody titled Kabiyesi.
Commenting on the song, minister Abiola shares her thoughts below;
“In many lyrics, the word “Kabiyesi” is used to mean “sovereignty ” or “authority.”
In this song, the death of my dear mother, Pst. (Mrs.) Oluwafunmilayo Awolola, made me think more about God’s omnipotence.” Her death was completely unexpected, but who am I to question God’s decision.”
“The lyrics were written in a state of grief and utter sadness. It did, however, make me feel better and give me peace that “He gives and He takes away.”
“This story is meant to give hope to anyone who is hurting, especially after the death of a loved one: praise Kabiyesi instead, and let go to let God have his way in your life. God had a plan… God let it happen.” She added.
