Pastor Jimmy Odukoya, the Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju, Lagos, has officially introduced his new wife to members of the congregation, following a social media post that recently sparked speculation about his marital status.
The cleric made the introduction during the church’s Sunday service on November 1, 2026, where he presented the woman as Pastor Mrs Odukoya. The announcement comes after his October 31 social media post featuring a photograph of two hands wearing rings, accompanied by the caption, “To New Beginnings.”
The post had attracted attention from followers, many of whom interpreted it as a sign that the pastor had found love again. However, his announcement during Sunday’s service confirmed that he had remarried.
Pastor Jimmy Odukoya Introduces Pastor Mo to Congregation
During the service, Odukoya spoke about his journey since assuming leadership of the church, explaining that he had been navigating life alone before finding a new partner.
He made reference to the biblical account of Adam and Eve, noting that the Bible describes it as not being good for a man to be alone.
Addressing the congregation, he said:
“So, you know, ever since I became your pastor, I was doing this walk of life alone. You know, the Bible said it is not good; it said I will find somebody suitable. When Adam saw it, he said, ‘This is the flesh of my flesh, the bone of my bone, my left and right rib.’
“Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce to you for the first time, Pastor Mrs Odukoya.”
The woman, identified in media reports as Mo Jasyme, and also known as Pastor Mo Odukoya, subsequently joined him on the church stage. She expressed her happiness at being welcomed into the congregation and described it as a pleasure and honour to stand alongside her husband.
Pastor Tunde Bakare Prays for the Couple
Following the introduction, Pastor Tunde Bakare, the General Overseer of The Citadel Global Community Church, joined the couple and offered prayers and blessings over their union.
The couple knelt before the cleric as he prayed for their marriage, asking God to strengthen their home and establish it as a centre of peace, love, and kingdom activities.
Reports indicate that the marriage ceremony took place in the United States, with Bakare also involved in the marriage blessing.
Jimmy Odukoya’s Previous Marriage to Kemi Banjoko
The development marks a new chapter in the personal life of the Fountain of Life Church leader, who was previously married to Oluwakemi Banjoko.

The couple got married in London in March 2013, and their union was blessed with two children. However, reports indicate that their marriage eventually came to an end following a period of separation.
The circumstances surrounding the breakdown of the marriage have not been fully explained publicly by the parties involved.
Jimmy Odukoya, who is also known for his acting career, became the Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church in 2023 following the death of his father, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, on August 7 of that year.
His introduction of his new wife has since attracted attention from church members and social media users, with many congratulating the couple on their new chapter.
