I saw a video on Instagram, a video of a local church. I don’t know if the video was recorded in Nigeria or some other part of Africa. It was footage of a live church service or program that was going on. The worshipers didn’t have a drum set; there wasn’t any kind of locally made drum. I tried to check if they were using a public address system, but I found none. I saw that the church was making music; they were singing, using a bowl of rubber as a drum, drumming with passion, and singing sweet melodies as if they had all the instruments. Even the church building wasn’t completed. This became a motivation for me, that it doesn’t matter the situation of any church or fellowship; praises and worship can still be rendered. All it takes is for it to be in spirit and in truth.
