Theophilus Sunday – Keep Me Burning

The Nigerian spontaneous and spiritual worship music minister and songbird, Theophilus Sunday is here once again with another melody which he titled Keep Me Burning. This is an out cry call from our favorite worship minister.

The Holy Bible gives us many illustrations as to why music is very important. The relevance of music can never be ignored or underestimated. In mostly every sphere of life, societies, organizations, and in many religious groups and sects, music is an important element; music is a driver, it is often a determinant to many things. In the Bible, music was sung in order to bring down a wall called “The Wall of Jericho” – in Joshua 6:20; in this case, music was used as a tool for war. In another passage of the Bible, it was said that King Saul was being tormented by an evil spirit, and anytime David sang and played music for him, the evil spirits often ran away; in this scenario, music was used as a tool for deliverance. In another chapter of the Bible, the children of Israel sang unto God for their victory against Pharaoh. In the book of Exodus 15:1, “Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.” There are many instances that if I kept writing all here, I wouldn’t stop soon.
The most important thing in our life as Christians is to sing and worship the Lord God Almighty, as this is the only thing He wants from all of us, and you don’t need to look further for any good, sweet, and perfect melody. Here is one titled Keep Me Burning by Theophilus Sunday.
