A declaration of Christian faith takes centre stage in “This I Believe (The Creed)” by Mercy Worship, featuring Bayseld and WBM Worship. Based on the historic Christian beliefs expressed in the Apostles’ Creed, the song affirms the central truths of the Christian faith, including belief in God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, the Holy Spirit, and the resurrection of the dead.
Its message moves through the foundations of Christianity, celebrating the birth, sacrifice, resurrection, and lordship of Jesus Christ while affirming the hope of eternal life and the return of Christ. More than an expression of admiration, it serves as a statement of what believers hold true about God and His work of salvation. The global collaboration brings this well-known worship anthem to another audience, offering an opportunity for individuals and congregations to sing their faith with conviction and gratitude. It is particularly meaningful for worship gatherings centred on biblical truth, unity, and the foundations of Christian belief.
