What began as a song three decades ago has become much more than music. Even though rendered in my native tongue, Akanam nkwe has touched lives of people who don’t even understand the language, won numerous awards in Nigeria and internationally, and continues to be sung in churches and worship gatherings around the world. At the heart of this song is a timeless message – the immeasurably and unconditional love of God.
