Televangelist Benny Hinn has urged Christians to stop building online platforms by constantly attacking pastors and church leaders. Speaking on the growing trend of social media criticism, Hinn warned that some content creators appear more interested in gaining followers, views, and financial support than in helping the Church or defending biblical truth.
He encouraged believers to examine their motives and pursue correction with humility instead of turning public criticism into a source of influence or income.
Hinn acknowledged that ministers are accountable for their teachings and conduct, but he cautioned against making condemnation a personal ministry. His remarks come amid increasing online debates over doctrine, prosperity teaching, and the public correction of Christian leaders.

The evangelist, who has himself faced years of scrutiny and has publicly revised some of his earlier teachings on prosperity and fundraising, stressed that the Gospel should never become a tool for personal gain whether through fundraising or through attracting audiences by attacking others. He challenged Christians to seek unity, truth, and genuine spiritual growth while allowing biblical correction to be motivated by love rather than the pursuit of popularity or profit.
